Reading toddler books that rhyme is just a lot of fun. But identifying rhyming words carries a bit more significance than that. It’s also a foundational phonemic awareness skill for learning to read. What rhyming books make our favorites list?
I set out to find the funniest books that all my kids – ages 2, 5, 8, and 10 – can all enjoy. I searched for books that made us laugh out loud, books that kept everyone’s interest and attention regardless of age, and books that everyone wanted to read a second, third, and even fourth time. Here’s the ten that made our list.
