Zodiac Signs: Which Dr. Seuss Character Are You?

There’s no shortage of Dr. Seuss books in our house. His pages are filled with rhyming text that I’ll never tire of, and his creative band of characters are an eternal source of fun. We rounded up our favorites this month and asked, based on your zodiac traits, which Dr. Seuss character are you most like? Here’s what we came up with.  

Aries (Mar. 21 – Apr. 20): The Lorax from “The Lorax”  
Like the Lorax himself, you are adventurous and energetic, a true pioneer for your cause, be it saving the trees or second helpings on dessert. You are enthusiastic, confident, but sometimes quick tempered and can grow impatient.
Taurus (Apr. 21 – May 21): Sam-I-Am from “Green Eggs and Ham”
Just like Sam-I-Am and his insistence on trying new foods, particularly green eggs and ham, you are relentlessly optimistic. You are persistent and determined, warm-hearted and loving, yet sometimes self-indulgent and greedy. 
Gemini (May 22 – June 21): Pale Green Pants from “The Pale Green Pants”
The pair of green pants with nobody inside them is nervous and tense, and so are you. Yet you are also funny, lively, inquisitive, and even talkative when you want to be.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Horton from “Horton Hears a Who”
Like Horton the elephant who is notoriously faithful 100 percent, you, too, are faithful. You are emotional, loving, protective, and sympathetic. You can also be overly emotional at times and perhaps unable to let go when you need to.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 21): Fox from “Fox in Socks”
Endlessly creative, enthusiastic and irrepressible like that tongue-twisting fox, you have the gift of gab and your commitment is unfailing. 

Virgo (Aug. 22 – Sept. 23): Mack from “Yertle the Turtle”
Just like that little turtle at the bottom of the stack, you are modest, shy, and a worrier. But you are also intelligent, analytical, and reliable, and you are not afraid to speak up for change, even if it’s with a burp.

Libra (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23): Cindy Lou Who from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
Cindy Lou Who is able to look past the obvious faults of the Grinch, and so are you. You are kind, fair, and easygoing and an agreeable nature. At times, however, you are easily influenced by others. 
Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22): Gertrude McFuzz from “Gertrude McFuzz”
Just like the Gertrude McFuzz, you are emotional, determined, and passionate when you want something, like the abundance of feathers that another bird has. You are exciting and magnetic, but can also be jealous and compulsive. 
Sagittarius (Nov. 23 – Dec. 22): Cat in the Hat from “The Cat in the Hat”
As a symbol for all-things Seuss, the Cat in the Hat is optimistic and freedom-loving, just like you. You have a good sense of humor, are honest, and straightforward. Yet you often grow restless and even careless when stuck indoors on a rainy day.
Capricorn (Dec. 23 – Jan. 20): Marvin K. Mooney from “Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now!”
Just like Marvin, you are patient, careful, practical, and reserved. You are not at all bothered if asked to leave, but you might just stand your ground. You are ambitious, practical, and a rule follower.

Aquarius (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19): Max from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”
Max is endlessly loyal, and so are you. You are friendly, inventive, independent, and honest. Sometimes you come across as unemotional and your actions may seem unpredictable.

Pisces (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20): Thidwick from “Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose)
Like that soft-hearted moose with hard-hearted guests on his antlers, you are compassionate, kind, selfless, and sympathetic. Perhaps a little too selfless at times, however.
